After conducting weeks of research on the best E-bikes, I decided the Aventon Adventure.2 would be the bike for me. My neighbor had the Pace, which I test drove. That too was nice, but I wanted a beefier bike with fenders. I wanted to ride it a bit to get a good feel for it and give the best review I can. I ordered it Sept 26 2023. It was delivered Oct 2 2023. It arrived fairly quickly. My husband assembled it pretty easily. It came boxed well with good instructions. (watching assembly on You Tube helps also!) The bike rode great, easy to operate. I unlocked the speed and can get the bike up to 29 miles per hour.
On 10-19-23 I saw Aventon ran a special when you buy a bike you get a 2nd battery free. I had just purchased it and emailed them asking if I might be able to get the battery. They declined to give me that offer. The disappointing part is my neighbor emailed them and asked for the same free battery offer post purchase, and they sent him one! Then my bike started making a tingy vibration noise when travelling about 15mph. We researched how to stop this and were not successful. We contacted Aventon customer service, explained the problem and they said they would send out a new rotor and brakes for the rear tire. (it seems this is a known issue, but easily fixed) That response redeemed themselves in our eyes. I have almost 300 miles on the bike and the battery has been getting about 50 miles on one charge. The only computer feature I would want changed is to have the tripometer on the main screen. I don’t feel “how many trees I saved” is important information.
